NON VERBAL COMMUNICATION Non –verbal communication comes under the purview of social interaction in sociology. Nonverbal communication affects how the words one says is perceived and understood . This type of communication includes gestures, touch, body language, posture, facial expressions, and eye contact. Nonverbal communication can also include messages communicated through material items. For example, clothing or hairstyle is a form of nonverbal exchange that communicates something about the individual.
